Weekly Intentions

My Week’s Intentions, 5

Hello everyone! I hope your week is going well so far.

I’m late getting this post out. I took seriously the rest and enjoy family time intentions of last week:) It was delightful. Having a day off in the middle of the week.. spending time with my sister, niece and nephew.. enjoying time with friends.. and simply not feeling in any rush to do a huge amount of productive stuff. A much needed reprieve.

But I finally uploaded photos to my Gallery page! Finally, haha.. It’s not at all how I would like it to look, but it’ll have to do for now. Perhaps I can email wordpress for some formatting guidance. Any suggestions?? I’d gladly take them, for sure.

Last week’s intentions:

  • Take Bella for a longer than usual walk after work.
  • Upload pictures of bakes to my Gallery page (which I’m having a hard time doing, because I can’t get them just as I want them).
  • Take a moment before going to bed each day for reflection – either by writing in my journal or documenting here with a picture, poem, or story.
  • Read more of Circling the Sun.
  • Enjoy the holiday with family.
  • Rest.

And after I posted a photo of my daughter’s unicorn birthday cake, I was asked to make another for a friend. Yay!! I’m so excited! My first paid baking gig. Super exciting. So this week will be a lot of unicorn cake making. Though I have lots of fruit in my kitchen that I need to bake something with too… cherries, lemons, raspberries, blackberries. The possibilities are endless!

What about you? What are you planning this week?

This week’s intentions:

  • Finish Circling the Sun.
  • Complete my friend’s unicorn cake by noon on Saturday.
  • Take Bella for a longer than usual walk after work.
  • Take a moment before going to bed each day for reflection – either by writing in my journal or documenting here with a picture, poem, or story.
  • Write my next week’s intentions on Sunday.

Mantra for the week: Stay determined.

Happy Tuesday, all! We’re nearly halfway there!
